Margiis from several countries and various units here in the New York Sector have given unanimous feedback that this program has deepened their understanding of 1st lesson and has greatly benefited their spiritual practice. Dada Pramananda will share a powerpoint slide presentation with in-depth and inspirational information on how to correctly do this fundamental lesson of our Sahaja Yoga Sadhana. We will then practically apply what we lovingly relearn and are reminded in a 1 hour session of Iishvara Pranidhana, divided into three 20-minute sessions. Each session focused on one of the major parts of our practice--and all preceded by kiirtan.

NOTE: Everyone must have 1st lesson to attend.

*FRI, February 26, 8:00 PM - 12:00 PM; The Fundraising Dance Event for Haiti Earthquake Relief; at the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture, 53 Prospect Park West, Brooklyn, 11215.

Please join us at this fundraising dance for Haiti earthquake relief, featuring a live band, 50/50 raffle, door prizes and snacks. And importantly, you'll hear about the latest information and news concerning the work of AMURT/AMURTEL in Port-au-Prince. This dance will be co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture Society and NEGES Foundation, and is open to the public. Remember--All proceeds going directly to our relief work in Port-au-Prince!

Ten minutes of Prabhata Samgiita will be followed by Sadhana Shivir from 4 PM to 7 PM, followed by Dharma Shastra, Kaoshiki and a collective meal.

*MON, March 1; 6:30-8:30 PM, Introductory Meditation Class; at Waitsfield, Vermont. This is the first of a six week class that will be taught on successive Monday evenings by Didi Cirasmita. The class is open to newcomers or to those who would like a refresher.

*SAT, March 20 - SUN March 21; Meditation Class Teacher Training; at Los Altos Hills Jagrti, Los Altos Hills, CA. Dada Nabhaniilananda will lead this training, where participants will learn to lead professional quality meditation classes and deepen their understanding of the core elements of meditation, acquire the skills of an exemplary instructor, and join a community of Ananda Marga teachers.

*FRI, April 23 - SUN, April 25; Boston Region Spring Retreat; at Earthdance, Plainfield, Massachusetts.

Arrival is Friday evening. A light meal will be available. Our Spring Retreat will be located at Earthdance in Plainfield, Massachusetts. Earthdance is a beautiful, rustic, rural center with a big round meditation room, another dance studio, lots of small dormitory rooms in their facility next door, and a cozy dining area and kitchen where we can prepare our own food, plus 125 acres of woods, streams, trails and meadows.

There will be workshops Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday morning on spiritual philosophy and yogic lifestyle. Childcare will be organized during programs.

*FRI, April 23 - SUN, April 25; Midwest Spring Retreat; at Ananda Liina (Urbana, IL)

The spring retreat will be held in the beautiful locale of Ananda Liina . In addition to classes, kiirtan and meditation, the retreat will feature a guided tour of the state-of-the-art ecological facilities of this master unit.
